To be honest I have preached very few sermons in my life. As you can tell from the dates below the first nine were added slowly as I did pulpit supply from time to time. When I started this page only the first two sermons existed, since then I have the privilege of adding more. However as of 12-Mar-2006 I am functioning as the interim pastor for Grace Church after Cliff Howery's retirement. As I write this I am imagining you will see a steady increase in the number of sermons available and as before the notes from all them they are available below.
When doing some of the other teaching that I do I don't always have such extensive notes because of the question and answer format of those classes. Because of that fact the notes from those classes are unfortunately not available online.
I trust that God will use these sermons to bless your heart and minister to you as a believer. If you lack a personal relationship with God Almighty, by that I mean you have never placed faith in Christ plus nothing else for your eternal security, I trust that God the Holy Spirit would use these sermons to convict you of your sin and your need of a Savior.
By way of a disclaimer I am quite aware that there are grammatical issues and misspellings in the documents contained on this site. However they are being reproduced electronically here exactly as they were in hard copy format at the time the sermon was delivered.
The nature of preparing to preach is God lays a passage or text on your heart. You as a faithful proclaimer of the Word read and re-read, and re-read the text looking to gain all possible insight from the text. When the eyes of your understanding are opened to what the passage says you begin to write your thoughts down as quickly as they come to you and quite often as a side effect there are grammatical issues. At least this is my experience in these matters.
